now i just have to manage to transplant them outside in a few weeks, and then keep them alive for a few months. the man at our neighborhood garden center told me that "most plants will grow in spite of what we do to them." i'm hoping he's right about that!
william and i have been enjoying the beautiful weather today. we took brinkley on a long walk this morning. and this afternoon we met three other mamas and their babies at a nearby park for some playtime. here is a picture of william and his buds:

at every previous trip to the park this spring william cried whenever i tried putting him in the swing. today he finally realized how fun it is!
