our happy boy

the summer seems to be flying by, and we realized that it has been a while since our last post! despite our efforts to convince william to stop growing, he is getting bigger every day. he weighs 13 lbs 1 oz now, and we are constantly noticing changes in his development. most recently he has started reaching for and grabbing objects in front of him. he is also such a happy boy -- he loves to smile and coo, especially after having a good meal!

terri was in her friend lisa’s wedding on july 18th. we made the drive out to slinger, wisconsin (north of milwaukee) for the event, and we had a great time. our friend julie was kind enough to watch william at the hotel for us during the reception and dance so we were able to enjoy a night off. we both had a lot of fun, but we missed our little guy!

we began house hunting again in july, and on our third day of looking we found "the" house. it is located in south minneapolis near lake nokomis, and we are just in love with this charming little house! it is currently a 2 bedroom 1 bath, but we are planning to add another bedroom and bathroom in the basement sometime next year. we are moving toward a close date of august 31st, and we are excited to finally own our first home. we hope you all can come and visit!
