for those of you with children, you can appreciate our current situation. today is terri's due date, but so far there have been no consistent signs of impending labor or delivery. of course, we're not in any rush for the little guy to leave his comfortable home until he's good and ready. that said, there is something about waking up every morning and wondering whether or not today will be the day that is a bit groundhog's-day-esque...
terri continues to feel good with a few recent discomforts; we'll be heading to visit the midwives first thing monday morning to have a thrombosed vessel relieved. (if you have to ask, you probably don't want to know...) otherwise, the little guy continues to be incredibly active inside the womb. it continually amazes us to feel him roll, kick, punch, and maneuver inside terri's belly.
if you live in the madison area, on tuesday, may 5th, there will be a hearing at the Capitol around the noon-hour to discuss wisconsin womens' right to breastfeed in public. currently, there are no laws preventing a place of business from asking a breast-feeding woman to leave or cover up. if you are available, please come out to help us support this important cause. we hope to see you there! for more information, check out Happy Bambino's blog via the link on the right. also, check out the nursing is normal website to see some great pictures by local photographers and learn more about why this legislation is so important.
we hope you enjoy the changes we made to our blog. it is still a work in progress and will hopefully continue to evolve with our family. enjoy your week, and stay posted for more information!

Love the blog! Forgot to tell you guys to call me at work or home whenever you have to get to the hospital-even if it's in the middle of the night. Ben's looking forward to Brinkley's visit and Brinkley is looking forward to playing with Ben's toys!
Got your blog email, Aaron... so- wonder if we might be seeing you 2 on Thursday???!!!
Love the new blog! Let me know how your appointment goes today.
Aaron, just wait for all of your transgressions to be paid back by your child. I think that it is called payback for all the grief you caused your parents when you were younger..lol. I know it is for me.
Actually, it is such an amazing experience and I know you will be a great father.
Sorry we haven’t stayed in touch as much as we should. It has been kind of crazy with a lot going on in our lives. I will have to send you a note to catch you up on everything.
Well congratulations and enjoy the experience.
Oh yeah, one word of advice. If you are going to be a part of the delivery, stay up with Terri and enjoy the view from above rather than below....
You are so right about the thrombosis thing. What did your midwife use to relieve it? Scary stuff. I'm thinking of you guys like 20 times a day. A bath and a cup of hot tea persuaded BJ to arrive. Just saying!
