throughout terri's pregnancy we were often told how difficult the postpartum period would be...sleep deprivation, no time to do household chores or run errands, possible breastfeeding issues... while we are sleep deprived and it is difficult to find time to do much other than breastfeeding (william eats a lot), we have been delightfully surprised to discover that we are enjoying every minute of it. the lost sleep and lack of social life all become worth it when william falls asleep in our arms. parenthood has been a true joy so far.
on may 18th terri's mom came to stay with us for a week to help terri while aaron studied for his board exams. we are very grateful for her help! over the memorial day weekend terri's sister kim and her husband jamie came to visit as well. terri, kim, and their mom made a couple of outings over the weekend to do some shopping. william was pretty good overall, but we don't think he's too fond of shopping. we're going to have to work on that!
on may 22nd william had his two week check-up, and everything looks great. he was back up to his birth weight, and the physician assistant that we saw had no concerns. we are very blessed to have a happy, healthy little boy.

That is such a great picture of you and William, Terri and the post bath froggie outfit is adorable! Still maintain that he's the cutest. baby. ever.
We miss William already!! Oh, and we miss you guys too. :) It was fun visiting you last weekend. Thanks again for your hospitality!
Just want to tell you both how grateful I am that you have been so supportive and wonderful to Molly Bee. Your entire family (all FOUR of you)will be sorely missed. May life be as kind to you as you have been to others.
