i think i'll entitle day three, nap day. this post should be short and sweet. we started off our day with breakfast in and relaxing around the resort. terri napped while i rattled off the day two accounting of events. then we set out to check out the two harbors area. we toured the Edna G, a retired tugboat that spent its entire career in two harbors, the two harbors light house, and the 3M history museum - apparently 3M's humble beginnings are here in two harbors. really, we wouldn't have toured this museum had we not known several people who work or have worked at this company. you know who you are... :)
we had a quick lunch at the black woods grill and bar here in two harbors - the food was pretty good. i had a burger, terri had chicken pot pie (bad kitty*) we headed back to the hotel and decided to sit in the pool for a while. it's amazing how quiet this place is during off season - we have barely seen anyone else around here the entire time we have been here. it's kinda nice to be quite honest. around four o'clock, we headed up to the room for another nap. we didn't get up until 8pm - so we had dinner in the resort restaurant. so far, our only bad dining experience was here. the food was lack luster - but the view over the lake during a lightning storm made the experience worth it.
anyway, hope all is well with you, and keep checking back for more updates. i'm trying to figure out what's going on with the pictures. hopefully we'll have some posted for you shortly. we have some good ones! until next time...
