honeymoon - day one

okay, so i'm a couple days back, but i have an excuse since i'm on my honeymoon - right??? :) i do plan on updating the site as much as possible over the next week, and hopefully get caught up as much as possible. without talking about the wedding, since that will take a little more typing, here's the low-down on the first day.

the first day following the wedding we spent the morning opening gifts with our families at the lodge. we received some amazing gifts and had a great time. we finished up and set out for our honeymoon spot in two harbors. the drive took about five and a half hours, but we got to superior shores at 6:30 in the evening. we grabbed some take-out pizza from a little place called portside pizza (pepporoni, thin crust, delicious) and spent some time relaxing in the jacuzzi. what we really needed was a good night's sleep, and that was what followed. i'll finish posting about day two first thing tomorrow. have a great night!
