yesterday we went to meriter hospital (where we will be delivering the baby) for a 12-week ultrasound. we had so much fun watching the baby flip around, do headstands, and one time we think he/she even mooned us! the baby was very active, and we were able to see the heart beating. for the first time it made being pregnant seem "real". it is too early to tell whether the baby is a boy or a girl, but we're hoping to find that out at the 20-week ultrasound. here are some pictures:
this morning we went to the clinic to meet with the midwife for our 12-week checkup. we were able to hear the heartbeat for the first time, which was very exciting! we are very blessed that everything is going well, and we can't wait to meet him/her next spring!
