a blog a day...

it would seem that summer here in madison, wi seems to be drawing to an abrupt close. the past few days have been suprisingly chilly even requiring us to wear fleece jackets in the late afternoon and early evening. it's always nice to have seasonal changes to remind us of how fleeting and impermanent each season truly is.

aaron started his rotation at the uw mcfarland family practice clinic following labor day. thus far, he is really enjoying the rotation and the clinicians he is working with from day to day. he has had the opportunity to perform several exams on patients independantly and has even done some procedures including suturing and wart removal (exciting, truly exciting...). :)

terri is finally wrapping up the end of her "busy season" this week. it's been pretty hectic with two separate groups of auditors invading her workspace over the past couple months. she's looking forward to a more "normal" work schedule in the near future where she won't be staying late and going in early! truth be told, aaron is most excited about this since she'll have more time to plan some delicious meals!

brinkley has been dealing with a bout of diarrhea since our last visit to minnesota. he's been on a regimen of antibiotics for just under a week, and it seems to be working. the last few nights he starting regurgitating a small amount of food after the evening meal, so we were back at the vet again this morning. now we're trying out some pepcid to see if that will help with his puppy reflux - sheesh... tonight's meal seemed to stay down much better, so we'll keep at it over the next day or two.

otherwise, all is well with the browne clan. hope all is well in your neck of the woods. best wishes for a happy and healthy september, and we hope to post again soon! until next time...
