six month affair

so i realize how cliche this will sound, but man time does fly! today is six months from our wedding date, and it practically feels like a month or two ago. of course, we didn't get married in the snow and cold, but you know what i mean. we've both been quite busy over the last month since my last writing. here's the quick run down for you...

february 1st was the beginning of go-live for hcmc's epic implementation, so i lived at the hospital for a couple weeks. good times as usual. overall, the go-live was successful with most issues being resolved in a fairly expedient manner and not too many unexpected issues.

terri had an interview with university of wisconsin hospitals and clinics for a senior accountant position reporting directly to the VP of finance. she received an offer for the position two days ago, so we're both pretty excited. she has accepted the offer, but she's waiting to hear back from KPMG regarding the details of how the next couple months will play out. the new job needs terri to come down for a few weeks prior to starting full time in june -we'll keep you posted.

even though we're still almost three months away from the beginning of pa school, we think we may have located a place to live. we're going to try and check it out this month if possible. if it looks good, we're going to lock it in - and if need be, sublet our place here in minnesota until our move.

terri has been working in duluth for the past two weeks, and has one more to go before her last out of town audit is complete. it's been tough having her gone, but it's giving me plenty of time to study for both of my classes. i'm almost halfway through the semester and i'm still passing both classes. that's always a good thing.

well, i'll stop rambling for now. i know i've said this in the past, but i'm going to try and post more regularly on here now that my schedule has relaxed some. we'll see how that goes - the proof is definitely in this pudding. and that is a completely different shade of brown... :)

cheers!
