corporate drama

last week, on the 28th, terri got the long awaited phone call from uw-health with an offer for the senior accounting position. needless to say, we're both thrilled. (but i said it anyway...) anyhoo, there was a stipulation that they needed her to be available to work one week a month starting in march until the full time schedule would begin in june. this seemed to be a reasonable request, so she took it up the chain with her current employer. after being passed around to several people and winding up in one of the partner's laps, the request was denied based on legal concerns. so terri did what any logical person might do, she submitted her two-week notice!

what does this mean, you ask? terri will begin working for uw-health at the end of this month. she will be there monday through thursday and spend most weekends back here in the cities. she will also have one full week off a month to get things wrapped up here for our big move at the end of may.
