it never fails to amaze me how quickly the time passes. one of the most common themes of advice we've obtained since becoming parents has been something along this line, "soak it all up - they grow up way too fast!" while i can definitely appreciate this sage advice, it seems to hold true for all other aspects of our lives. maybe it's due to sleep deficiency, or increased attentiveness to our newest creation, but it seems like every time i turn around, so much has happened. you can appreciate how it has affected our blog posts; also unspared have been our finances, the lurking and ever growing pile of unfiled paperwork on the kitchen table, the random scattered piles of dirty laundry, and the dust bunnies who may just be mounting a coup...
i find myself pining more and more these days for madison. i miss our friends, our neighbors, our varied networks, our favorite hangouts, you get the idea... and while i wouldn't trade for a second being so much closer to our family and close friends here in the cities, and our new home, i still long for our old haunts. i find it funny, especially since i'm not usually the sentimental type. hope this finds you all in good spirits, and we hope to put some renewed effort in to more consistent posting. would love to hear some stories from you about things/places/people you miss. enjoy your sunday, wherever you are...
