william updates

finally, a william update! our intention was to post weekly updates about our little guy, but the days seem to fly by when they are filled with breastfeeding, changing diapers, and hopefully managing to take a shower and get something to eat!

william is doing great. he had his one month check-up on june 9th, and he was up to 9 pounds and 22 inches long. he also got to meet his cousins tolkien and talulah, auntie amanda, and uncle tyler when they stopped by for a visit. before we know it william will be running around with them!

last weekend terri was a bridesmaid in her friend kristin's wedding. it was a beautiful wedding, and we had a great time! about a week prior to the wedding terri began pumping, and we introduced the bottle. it didn't go well at first because william drank the bottle too fast, and then spit everything up. but we are slowly seeing improvement, and aaron was able to feed him a few bottles on the day of the wedding when terri was busy. william was an angel during the ceremony, reception and dance -- he slept right through it all!

this week william met his buddy finn. we met adam and megan (finn's parents) in birth class. finn was born may 31st, and he is a handsome boy! we got together one evening for dinner and lots of conversation about birth, babies, and breastfeeding...and we managed to squeeze in a few other topics as well. it was fun to catch up!
