an attempt to reconnect

so... we're not promising miracles or anything of the sorts; however, we're going to make an attempt to start publishing to our family blog on a more regular basis. it's truly amazing how time flies when you're busy, and that has been an understatement for us over the past year. we won't try and catch you up - if you're reading this, you probably know us well enough and are familiar with what's going on in our lives...

today was a really great day - we spent the morning at home watching the beijing summer olympics which our Tivo has been recording non-stop since friday night. in the early afternoon, we took brinkley to indian lake park just north of town to swim in the lake for the first time. we had a blast. we posted a few pics of the event, but you can check out the photo album terri created on her facebook account if you would like to see the rest. hope this finds you well, and keep your eyes peeled for our next post... hopefully sooner than later!
