end of a year (a belated telling)

it's always amazing to me how quickly a year passes. this one was no different. in a year's time i have managed to move from wisconsin to minnesota, make a major career change decision, and even get engaged to be married. i even managed to screw up the posting of this blog. this was incorrectly posted on another blog i setup accidentally near the end of december. craziness i tell you, craziness...

i'm going to keep this post short and sweet, but i wanted to pass along a little good news as well as some late holiday wishes. first, the news: i have received notice that i have been accepted to interview at uw-madison in january for a spot in the 2006 physician assistant (pa) program. the school only selects 71 candidates to interview for roughly 30 spots. i'm liking my odds. i will keep you all posted on how the interview turns out, but for now wish me luck! in more good news, terri passed her most recent cpa exam and has only one left until she is compete. of course, she still needs to put in her time (two years) before she obtains the certification, but that's the easy part. the last bit of good news for this post is that two of my very close friends recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy - james stephen gravley. i won't duplicate the pictures already available on his blog, but it you would like to see the cute little guy, you can find him on the link to the left at steve's blog.

okay, enough ramblings for now. i wish you all a very merry christmas, happy hanukkah, and a healthy and happy new year. i look forward to seeing you all in the upcoming months, and feel free to leave your comments and thoughts, as always! until next time...
