i spent the day sunday traveling to madison for my interview. as has been my luck the last three times i have made this drive, i was stuck in parking lot style traffic for almost two hours when the highway patrol decided to shut down a portion of the interstate near tomah. so, my usual four to four and a half hour commute took nearly six hours. good times... i got to spend the evening with amanda, tyler, and my nephew, tolkien. i don't know about these 'sconnies' - they like their breadsticks and beer. they even start em off young...

seriously folks, the beer was gone long before he got to the bottle. :) tolkien also found out about gloves this year. they're alot of fun!!!

the interview at madison went well. i spent the morning having breakfast with pete, a friend from minnesota that is in his first year of medical school at uw-madison. i should have an answer regarding my acceptance as early as next week wednesday. at latest i will know by the end of the first week of february. i'll keep you posted. hope all is well, and i hope to hear from you again soon!
