thirty days and a wake-up

sometimes it's hard to believe that eleven months has already passed since I proposed to terri at the humane society - and yet in a short month we will be getting married. it's craziness i tell you, craziness!!! the past eleven months have been an amazing journey - i have received countless pieces of advice and lessons from my friends and family; experienced ups and downs with the planning process; learned how much i despise the wedding industry (if anyone figures out who started this whole thing - punch them for me); and have grown much closer to my bride to be and her wonderful family. (yes, that would normally be sucking up, but in this case it's very true) i'm very excited to start this new chapter of my life and i'm very much looking forward to sharing this day with many of you. and for those of you who could not be in attendance, either due to conflicts or limitations on our part, you will definitely be in my thoughts that day. i hope that this update finds you all in good health and spirits, and i hope to hear and/or see you in the near future. until next time...
